Former CCT Killed in Car Accident

Sean Hopkins, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries he suffered in the crash.

According to a Tuesday news release from the Colorado State Patrol, Hopkins was traveling westbound down CR 43 in a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer when he drove off the left side of the roadway and down an embankment.

    Ron, could you find anything out about a memorial service. I live close by and could attend if my schedule allows. I haven't been able to find any info so far.

    Sean Hopkins services will be on Mon at 1:30 at the Fairmount Mortuary, at their Ivy Chapel. The Air Force Honor guard will also participate.
    It will be a traditional Catholic service

    Thank you for posting the arrangement information. I grew up in NY with Sean and am heartbroken by his passing. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life.

    Sean was very special to me and i am hurt this happened, but i pray he rests in peace and my love goes out to Lorraine and Cory and whole family I am so sorry for your loss.

    I will always remember Sean for his infectious smile and kind heart. He was an extended part of my family for so many years. May his soul rest in peace, and may those he left behind find comfort in fond memories. We love you Sean.

    That is terrible news! I hope that his family is okay. Was he doing anything in his career when he died? That would suck to leave them unfinished.
