The 724 STG Memorial Service ceremony is closed unless you get on the list of invited guests. Ceremony is 1300 EST at Pope AAF, NC (724 Parachute Packing Facility - Hurst drive, same road as the 21 STS) on Thursday, 11 August 2011. Uniform is Service Dress for military and civilian suit/tie. Please have MIL ID with you. If you don't have a MIL ID you can't get on base without a personal escort.
For folks arriving MILAIR, a bus will pick you up on the flight line and take you to the PPF gate off Hurst Rd (same road the club and the 21 STS are on).
Light refreshments will be available immediately following the ceremony in the PPF.
Transportation will take you back to your aircraft between 1500-1600. We request if you have a general officer in your travel party you let us know ASAP.
For those able to stay longer, you are all invited to the post memorial reception at Ft Bragg Club (Armistead St & Totten St, Fort Bragg NC) from 1530-2100 hrs. at Ft Bragg NC.
