Level I Support
- Provide ground aggressors to Special Operations Forces (SOF) air and ground units.
- Provide armed, costumed, mobile and indigenous appearing role players during ISR and patterns-of-life training for airborne sensor-equipped aircraft. Assist SOF air and ground units in urban ISR training.
- Operate electronic and visual threat emitters and simulators.
- Provide role playing as: armed resistance units opposing U.S. and allied SOF ground units; foreign customs and/or military officials during aircrew training; and armed indigenous local threat during SERE-conducted Combat Survival Training.
- Provide maritime/boat operator support to: SERE-conducted water survival training; tilt/rotary wing aircraft during water operations training; and SOF ground forces during water/SCUBA operations including parachute recovery, infil/exfil missions, dive platform and other waterborne operations as required by the training scenario.
- Assist authorized Test squadrons/units in evaluating new equipment and procedures.
- Provide similar type OPFOR training support when required by the training scenario or as designated by local command.
- Use, operate and control simulated IEDs, blank ammunition, ground burst simulators and other training pyrotechnics as required. Maintain accountability IAW AF/A4LW AFKN CoP Munitions Accountability Procedures Guide and other local guidelines.
- Use, operate, control and maintain actual and simulated weapons to include U.S., NATO, foreign, simulated munitions (simunitions) and other training weapons.
- Develop, manage and maintain an OPFOR augmentee training and tracking program.

Level II Support
- As Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Ground Observers, provide flight following, traffic advisories as well as any required assistance or necessary asset protection to RPA aircraft while operating in FAA Class “D” and Class “E” airspace or as designated by the mission/training scenario.
Level III Support
- Provide JTAC-qualified contractor for target acquisition, Call-for-Fire (CFF) and Close Air Support (CAS) to assigned and authorized gunship/armament-equipped aircraft. Training support will include live and dry fire training.
- Provide ground parties for convoys, patterns-of-life and indigenous actions for aircraft and sensor training. Develop, manage and maintain an ISR augmentee training and tracking program.
Level IV Support
- Landing Zones (LZ). Type landing zones will be mission specific and can include, but are not limited to dirt LZs, military installations and commercial and/or municipal airports. Supported aircraft will include, but are not limited to Non-Standard Aviation (NSAv), MC/C-130, C-17 and CV-22 tilt-rotor aircraft.
- Drop Zones (DZ). Support to all aircraft conducting airdrop training operations. Type drops will include, but are not limited to Heavy Equipment (HE), Container Delivery System (CDS), High Speed Low Level Aerial Delivery System (HSLLADS) and HALO/Static Line Personnel. Supported aircraft will include, but are not limited to Non-Standard Aviation (NSAv), MC/C-130 and C-17 aircraft.
- DZ, LZ, Helicopter Landing Zone (HLZ) and Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP) surveying. Provide Administrative surveying of DZ, LZ, HLZ and FARP locations following the guidelines of AFI 13-217, AFI 11-235, any applicable Engineering Technical Letters (ETL) and Flight Crew Information Files (FCIFs).
