Air Force Cross (AFC) Ceremony Transportation

If you are planning on attending the Combat Control Reunion In-brief 27 Oct 11/0900-1000 at the Special Tactics Training Squadron (STTS) and wish to attend the AFC ceremony which follows, transportation across base to the Freedom Hanger has been arranged.

AFC ceremony attendees will be provided bus transportation with the following timeline:

0900-1020 Buses from STTS to the AFC ceremony at the Hurlburt Fld, Freedom Hanger

A/R Buses from AFC ceremony to the STTS

Task Force Ranger Participants

Request anyone assigned to the 24 STS involved in Task Force Ranger operations contact me if interested in the following.

I've been contacted by a person that takes posters depicting military operations and tries to get signatures on these posters from people involved.

He is presently gaining signatures for Somalia, TF Ranger, 1993.

Some who have already signed the poster are Gen Boykin, ADM Olsen, Howard Wasdin, Col McKnight,,Matt Eversmann, Lee Van Arsdale, CSM Mel Wick, Norm Hooten, Rob Marsh, SMgt Tom Colbert, Mike Durant, Col Tom Matthews, and many others.

This individual has done the same thing for the Son Tay Raid, Rescue of Scott O'grady, CMH recipients, Urgent Fury, Mayaguez, Roberts Ridge, CSAR Vietnam, and others.

If you were there and desire to sign the poster, contact me and I'll pass the contact info to you.

This is a CCT WEB site but if you know how to contact the PJs involved, please pass that info to me.

Another note, there was an initial deployment and after 4 Oct, a second deployment of troops. Anyone on the second deployment is encouraged to contact me for this opportunity.
