Scott Giuliani Benefit Ride

Hey guys,
one of the 24th's recent medically retired warriors has been fighting galliantly against Metastatic Melanoma Cancer for some time now and it doesn't look good for his outlook. We just got the bad news about the turn in his condition, (He has been spending lots of time up at Duke Medical Center), and just prior to learning of this news, there had been an organized bike ride/benefit for him and his wife planned for Saturday, June 13th. If you are in our area and want to ride, (probably cannot read the poor quality scan from my home computer), but it starts @ Ray Price HD in Raleigh, (registration 9-1000, $10 per rider), goes for appetizers & door prizes @ Freedom Biker Church and then concludes @ the new Ole Time BBQ on Hwy 401. There will be food, prizes and from 1200- 1600 live bands.

I am checking into how to get donations to/ his church and will have a follow-up e-mail when I get address/ and/or e-address to send donations to, but the checks will be made out to the Freedom Biker Church.

Now more than ever, if guys can, please donate so we can help out his wife. She has really been a true-to-form awsome controller's wife through this all.
Until the next send,

Hop out.

Wounded Controller

On 20 May SSgt Joe Byrne from the 21 STS was wounded in combat. First, he is doing well after suffering a gunshot wound to the neck. He was very fortunate and will make a full recovery. The 21 STS did an excellent job of getting him back to the states to convalesce. Please keep Joe and his family in your thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery.

Best regards,
Wayne
