Combat Controller’s
DESCRIPTION:
Provide Training and Instruction on enhanced digital
situational awareness, survey, and associated communications systems throughout
the ST community and provide ST JTAC simulator support on advanced technology
programs.
LOCATION:
Hurlburt Fld (720th OSS). Includes travel subordinate STS’s and or TDY/Exercise locations attended by members of said units to perform key training and instruction on ST kit and perform evaluation of kit for future enhancement programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates shall possess knowledge in all duties related to JTAC and Joint fires skills to include current/past qualification as JTAC with at least 6 years of experience. Experience as a JTAC Instructor or JTAC SEE is preferred. Candidates shall also possess knowledge in all duties related to Airfield Survey/Instructor with certification in Landing Zone Safety Officer/Instructor and assault zone reconnaissance qualifications.
