Joe is an old friend from the Air Commando Wing days. He was combat com and I was Combat Control. As many of the Combat Com guys did, they cross trained into CCT; e.g., Nick Kiraly, Lee Everson, Larry Clawson. Later when I was the Chief at the Little Rock AFB CCT, Joe worked for me. He was a great guy and hard worker. Joe retired at Little Rock and stayed in the area. I know he will be missed by many.
RIP Joe.

Hello Chief, I remember you when I was 12 years old at LRAFB. Thank you for the kind words about my father. He was extremely proud of being a member of the Combat Control Team. He had "CCT Member" put on the tailgate of his truck. When I joined the AF I told him that I was going to try for CCT, he told me in no uncertain way that he would allow it. I don't know why, he would never tell me. I spent my 25 years, 10 months, and 5 days active duty as an air traffic controller.
Thank you for being my father's friend, he spoke fondly of you, Terry Highland, and Mark Hahn.
