DCAPS Air Operations Specialist (1C2X1)
DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
will include, but not limited to, conducting detailed air/ground/maritime
operations analysis, planning, coordinating, scheduling, and activity reporting
for deployed/employed ST forces. Manage external taskings through STTAS,
forecast and recommend missions, develop policies and procedures, maintain C2
communications, identify and mitigate risks, resolve potential critical mission
problems, coordinate personnel/equipment to support mission or training,
interpret HHQ policies and implement corresponding actions, coordinate/submit
requests for JA/ATT support, and coordinate range, ARFF, and other support as
directed.

REQUIREMENTS:
Includes
but not limited to: Knowledge of analytical and evaluation techniques related
to current ST operational planning, scheduling, and reporting. Knowledge of
mission and scheduling terminology to coordinate with other operations
activities is required. Knowledge of coordinating techniques to obtain
information and coordinate mission requirements. Knowledge of ST peculiarities
for operational scheduling. Knowledge of military organizational structures
with specific knowledge of ST, to include command relationships. Possess
computer skills to generate manage information and reporting. Possess skills in
using specific scheduling systems such as STTAS and JA/ATT. Possess effective
oral and written communication skills.
DCAPS Aircrew Flight Equipment Specialist (1P051)
DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
will include, but not limited to, performing fabrication work, training
personnel on proper parachute packing procedures, performing preventative
maintenance on equipment, as well as inspection, repair, packing, maintenance
and documentation of parachute assemblies.

Includes
but not limited to: Knowledge of common, experimental, and newly developed
fibers, blends, and fabrics; sequencing procedures for packing various
parachute assemblies; hazardous and non-hazardous materials; standard shop
mathematics; and knowledge of safely regulation and procedures. Skills in
applying parachute packing and examination procedures. Ability to safely
operate a variety of material handling equipment and operate testing devices.
DCAPS Heavy Vehicle and Equipment
Specialist (2T350)
DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities
will include, but not limited to, being the subject matter expert for motorized
equipment and accessories, including maintenance, troubleshooting, inspecting,
testing, and management of various motorized equipment. Provide inventory, equipment
mishap, cost breakdown, and maintenance reports to the customer.

REQUIREMENTS:
Includes
but not limited to: Ability to solve complex problems. Posses Knowledge of
engine repairs and detailed operating characteristics, as well as safety
regulations and procedures. Experience pertaining to Special Tactics motorized
equipment. Work experience managing mechanical equipment used for Rigging
Alternate Method Zodiac/Quad (RAM-Z/Q). Military or civilian small engine
repair/vehicle maintenance background is highly desirable. Personnel shall
receive additional specific small engine repair training and forklift driving
certification at the expense of the unit.
DCAPS Search and Rescue Barn (1P071)
DESCRIPTION:
Serve
as the PR Equipment Manager. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to,
assisting with issuing, servicing, and maintaining all assigned PR programs and
equipment, including equipment development and CONOPs to facilitate PR TTP
evolution. Assist with maintaining unit PR simulator training program, unit and
HHQ exercises, specialized training, periodic maintenance inspections, and
RDT&E of PR equipment. Assist evaluating and inspecting students during
training, administer written and performance evaluations, identify academic and
performance deficiencies, and provide briefings and training on PR equipment
unit personnel. Assist with procurement requirements and quality assurance.

but not limited to: Comprehensive and extensive knowledge of PR special
equipment. Knowledge of ST and SOF procedures, TTPs, and equipment. Knowledge
of ST employment methods. Knowledge of the Program Objective Memoranda (POM)
program. Knowledge of training aids and devices. Ability to plan, develop, and
conduct training; as well as understand/maintain test equipment. Possess skills
in using Microsoft Office and applicable ST information systems.
